About the role
- Position Overview: drive sales of Nielsen’s Audience Measurement products and services to U.S. Advertising Agencies; manage client relationships by supporting existing products, conducting meetings and discovering new opportunities and uncovering net-new clients and opportunities.
- Sales and Business Development: develop and execute strategies to acquire, retain, and grow relationships with advertising agencies in an assigned territory; develop and manage a sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships; conduct in person and video sales meetings; understand client needs and leverage Nielsen’s audience measurement solutions to provide actionable insights and recommendations; achieve sales and strategic objectives, including revenue targets and KPIs, by promoting Nielsen's data services to clients.
- CRM Management: Maintain a detailed and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity for sales reporting and forecasting; Deliver collaborative solutions through the use of Nielsen’s audience measurement tools to solve strategic marketing and advertising challenges.
- Collaboration and thought leadership: Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Success, Analytics, Product, Sales Operation and Data Science; Represent Nielsen at industry events, client meetings, and conferences, positioning the company as a thought leader in audience measurement.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in a sales or business development role, within the advertising, digital media, or data-driven marketing industries.
- Proven experience selling in the media industry.
- Sales experience with audience measurement services or data-driven marketing solutions to brands, agencies and media planners is a plus.
- Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions that leverage Nielsen's audience measurement tools.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
