About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the interface to shipping partners and internal circles
Proactively resolve operational issues with shipping partners and ensure smooth collaboration
Mediate between IT, Customer Care and other internal circles
Conduct tenders for shipping and packaging solutions
Compare offers and contribute to strategic projects
Onboard new shipping partners and develop more sustainable packaging concepts
Continuously analyze shipping partners’ performance and service quality
Identify deviations early and take corrective action
Review freight invoices, analyze discrepancies and clarify them with service providers
Optimize logistics processes and shipping sustainably
Gradually take on more responsibility for operational processes, strategic projects and process optimizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree, ideally with a focus on Business Administration or Supply Chain Management/Logistics
Initial practical insights into logistics or procurement are an advantage
Clear, empathetic and, when necessary, assertive communication
Confident persuasion and follow-up in German and English
Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
Structured working style and ability to maintain overview during dynamic phases
Precision and a strong attention to detail
Affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
Regular use of spreadsheets
Initial experience with BI tools, e.g. Looker
Willingness to help out operationally in the warehouse
Collaborative yet independent working style
Reliability and adherence to agreements
