About the role
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks: data entry, bank reconciliations, payroll, supplier payments
- Prepare BAS/IAS files
- Prepare client management report packs
- Prepare operating budgets
- Undertake ad hoc projects as required
- Support team in meeting key financial and non-financial targets
- Maintain task list and attend workflow meetings
- Assist with billings and prepare daily timesheets
- Perform administrative duties: filing, photocopying, recycling, telephone reception support, ad hoc administrative tasks
Requirements
- Ideally 1+ year in a public practice accounting firm
- Advanced user of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks (QBO)
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite (Excel in particular)
- Strong data entry skills
- Accounts payables/receivables experience
- Experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments
- Experience preparing BAS/IAS files and client management report packs
- Ability to prepare operating budgets
- Works autonomously and meets expectations
- Communicates effectively across industries; excellent written and verbal communication
- Builds and maintains client relationships
- Basic taxation knowledge
- Knowledge of business operations, systems, and compliance
- Commitment to professional development
- Relevant prior experience or certification in the field
- Must be a Philippine citizen currently living in the Philippines (work authorization requirement)
