About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead high-visibility learning projects - creating, updating, and delivering training material for both online and classroom learning.
Plan and develop instructor-led and/or multimedia learning courses for Niagara’s internal team members.
Report project progress in a way consistent with department project management protocol.
Troubleshoot problems with multimedia content.
Produces and edits video content as required.
Drives the curriculum design for compelling training programs, learning activities including instructor led, online, and alternative.
Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accurate content.
Evaluates the results of training programs and modifies future programs to better meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
4 Years – Experience in Position
2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
Proficiency in, but not limited to: Adult learning methods and pedagogy
Articulate 360, Microsoft Office Suite, Vyond, Camtasia, and associated design software
Multimedia skills: Proficient in manipulating and synchronizing audio files for use in e-learning
Ability to identify and interpret multimedia design needs and to develop creative and responsive design concepts.
General instructional design concepts, with an understanding of how a LMS functions and its role in deploying e-learning courses.
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design and other related fields or equivalent experience
