About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead high-visibility learning projects - creating, updating, and delivering training material for both online and classroom learning.
- Plan and develop instructor-led and/or multimedia learning courses for Niagara’s internal team members.
- Report project progress in a way consistent with department project management protocol.
- Troubleshoot problems with multimedia content.
- Produces and edits video content as required.
- Drives the curriculum design for compelling training programs, learning activities including instructor led, online, and alternative.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accurate content.
- Evaluates the results of training programs and modifies future programs to better meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 4 Years – Experience in Position
- 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
- Proficiency in, but not limited to: Adult learning methods and pedagogy
- Articulate 360, Microsoft Office Suite, Vyond, Camtasia, and associated design software
- Multimedia skills: Proficient in manipulating and synchronizing audio files for use in e-learning
- Ability to identify and interpret multimedia design needs and to develop creative and responsive design concepts.
- General instructional design concepts, with an understanding of how a LMS functions and its role in deploying e-learning courses.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design and other related fields or equivalent experience
