About the role

  • Generate quotes for standard and custom lighting products, as well as coordinate samples.
  • Work with the application design team to ensure timely completion of the design and delivery of quotes.
  • Provide product pricing and availability information via phone and email.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the functions, features, and benefits of the company’s product offering.
  • Assists Sales with quotations and project management in an effort to reduce response time and increase sales.
  • Analyze drawings and documentation in order to determine proper system functionality and the associated costs.
  • Create product cross-over quotes.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects at any given time.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Outside Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering in order to streamline the quoting process.
  • Assist PureEdge Rep Agencies and Regional Sales Managers find solutions and drive the specification of PureEdge products.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to assist with product specification and substitution.
  • Help provide resolution to any problems that may arise during the completion of transactions.
  • Provide a detailed review of quotes, documents, and purchase orders to ensure accurate and precise ordering of lighting products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quoting and/or sales estimation is a must.
  • Lighting or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience reading blueprints and construction drawings is preferred.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
