About the role

  • Partner with the CFO to lead and scale fund finance function
  • Own end-to-end fund accounting and reporting across venture funds
  • Manage outsourced fund administrators and ensure compliance
  • Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
  • Optimize finance tech stack and processes
  • Conduct quarterly valuations and LP/GP reporting
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax filings
  • Maintain high-performing finance team and scalable processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
  • Experience: 6–10 years, including a mix of public accounting/fund administration and hands-on venture capital/private-equity fund and management-company accounting.
  • Credentials: CPA and MBA or equivalent are a plus.
  • Proven success managing outsourced fund administrators and building scalable processes.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, partnership accounting, and valuation methodologies.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with QuickBooks, Allvue, Cobalt, and other reporting/analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences.
