About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Owns the development and execution of plans to achieve NRTL status
Leads and owns interaction with OSHA and accreditation bodies
Works with technical team to develop and maintain all of the necessary quality documentation required for accreditations
Ensures that the entire team is aware of accreditation requirements and their role in achieving and maintaining accreditations
Manage internal audits and management reviews as well as internal training on policies and requirements
Works with leadership to instill a culture of quality throughout the organization
Analyze existing operational processes using Lean Six Sigma tools (VSM, DMAIC, root cause analysis) to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and DMAIC projects to deliver measurable business results in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to establish metrics, track project progress, and validate improvements.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by training and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean principles, Kaizen, and 5S.
Provide regular progress updates to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
Deep knowledge of NRTL Program requirements and ISO 17020, 17025, 17065 accreditation requirements
Deep knowledge of quality management systems and auditing
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills; ability to influence teams at all levels.
Must be energized and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Ability to travel 10% of the time
