About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assists with the administration of core HR operations, including benefits administration and reconciliation
- Supports employee engagement & recognition programs
- Coordinates employee onboarding and transition activities
- Analyzes trends and provides recommendations for improvements
- Provides support for recruitment efforts
- Provides operational support for the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- Collaborates with the HR team to update and administer HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines
- Maintains accurate employee records and HR data; prepares reports, supports audits, and partners with Finance on budgets and audits
- Oversees wellness programs and materials to support a healthy and engaged workforce
- Stays current on HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends; performs special projects and other duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, experience supporting a remote workforce is desirable
- aPHR or PHR Designation or equivalent is preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance
- Experience with full cycle recruitment
- Demonstrated capability supporting employee relations matters
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Must be highly organized, with flexibility and creativity to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in managing HRIS/ATS software (i.e. Paylocity)
