About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assists with the administration of core HR operations, including benefits administration and reconciliation
  • Supports employee engagement & recognition programs
  • Coordinates employee onboarding and transition activities
  • Analyzes trends and provides recommendations for improvements
  • Provides support for recruitment efforts
  • Provides operational support for the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Collaborates with the HR team to update and administer HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines
  • Maintains accurate employee records and HR data; prepares reports, supports audits, and partners with Finance on budgets and audits
  • Oversees wellness programs and materials to support a healthy and engaged workforce
  • Stays current on HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends; performs special projects and other duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, experience supporting a remote workforce is desirable
  • aPHR or PHR Designation or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment
  • Demonstrated capability supporting employee relations matters
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, with flexibility and creativity to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in managing HRIS/ATS software (i.e. Paylocity)
