About the role
- Lead components of the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances against plan, prior periods, and benchmarks
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis (for both revenue and expenses)
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and performance recommendations
- Establish and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting standards
- Support capital planning, scenario analysis, and long-range financial planning
- Assist with special projects, business cases, and ad hoc analysis as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 4–7+ years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Prior experience managing or leading a team preferred
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Experience working with ERP and planning tools (NetSuite, Oracle, NSPB)
