About the role
- Assess risks, negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers.
- Deliver and review new and renewal policies for accuracy with clients.
- Manage an existing portfolio of business with the objective of expanding the client base.
- Actively engage in developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones within the NFP network and externally.
- Set up new clients in Epic, document and manage material changes in risk for both new and existing clients.
- Maintain a diary (follow-up system) to ensure receipt of policies, endorsements, and other necessary information to comply with requests.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with carriers and clients through regular communication.
- Contribute to the growth of the division by being a reliable, active, and trusted member of the yacht practice.
Requirements
- BA/BS preferred
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Typically, more than 3 years of industry and product line experience with ideally covering a yacht-specific BOB
- Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems preferred
- 220-Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire
