About the role
- Own and strategically grow your own book of high-value Property/Casualty clients
- Drive retention and expansion through internal collaboration
- Lead and support organizational and individual producers’ new business growth objectives
- Proactively identify and address coverage gaps
- Drive renewal and new business processes by designing efficient workflows
- Build and leverage deep carrier relationships to negotiate optimal terms
- Lead cross-functional teams with a focus on empowerment and accountability
- Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging technology platforms
- Act as a trusted advisor and proactively educate prospects and clients
- Participate in the creation of prospect and client proposals and presentations
- Continuously seek professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- High school diploma or equivalent is required with additional training or education
- Typically, more than 10 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience
- Experience as a Manager, Team Lead/Supervisor or other leadership role required
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Word and Excel
- Agency Management system experience required
- EPIC experience is highly desired
- P&C Insurance License required upon hire
- Professional insurance designation required. (CIC, CISR, CPCU, CRM, AAI, etc.) preferred
