About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain an onsite presence and representation for IT services
Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness
Consult with customers on all technical support issues
Make independent decisions and recommendations
Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and wireless solutions
Create and manage technical site documentation
Independently restore files/servers from backups
Work with hotel engineering staff during power failures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proactive and independent IT technical expert
Experience with hotel applications and systems
Ability to create VLAN’s, port assignments, wireless network design
Knowledge of Microsoft Operations Systems, Workstation/server hardware, Routers, switches, and firewalls
Cloud and virtualization-based technologies knowledge
Advanced understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols
Ability to lift up to 20lbs., pull cables, tie up wires, crawl on floors
2+ years of experience in IT support or related field.
