About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Daily travel to client sites throughout the North Orange County area, with up to 100% local travel during the workweek
Supporting two client sites per day in approximately four-hour blocks
Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required
Occasional after-hours support may be needed based on client demands
Work hands-on as well as remotely with the latest technology in multiple environments
Engage clients to understand their technology needs and enhance their technology efficiencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proactive and independent technical expert who performs a variety of tier I and tier II technical support responsibilities
Thorough working knowledge of information technology and infrastructure administration
Provide first and second level consultative client support for desktops, mobile devices, and server infrastructure
Accountable for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and billable hours
Work closely with project engineering, client services team, management team, and 3rd party vendors to resolve client’s technology issues
Technology working knowledge:
Experience resolving technical problems and troubleshooting in a client/server environment
Windows Desktop Operating Systems
Windows Server 2016 to present
Workstation/Server Hardware
Peripheral Devices including Printers, Scanners, etc.
Networking including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
Cloud-Based and Virtualization Technologies
Common Client/Server Applications including Microsoft 365, Adobe, etc.
Windows 10 / 11; Networking Technologies; Server/PC Hardware Diagnostics; Microsoft 365 Provisioning and Support; MSP applications like ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue desirable
Industry certifications (CompTIA A+ / Networking, M365 Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals); bachelor's degree in computer Engineer, Computer Science, Information Systems are highly desirable.
