About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Clinical Supervisor oversees, leads, and develops staff and manages daily operations within the service area, through effective leadership, communication, organization, and planning.
- This role is responsible for collaboratively meeting budgeted census projections while providing leadership to the Clinical team.
- Develop and manage policies and procedures to ensure effective client care.
- Foster a positive, trauma-informed culture and guide staff in daily decision-making and problem-solving.
- Use data to assess service trends, risks, and outcomes.
- Oversee clinical processes and team performance, and support staff training and development.
- Lead client evaluations, treatment planning, and ensure compliance with licensing standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff.
- Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Support professional growth and uphold Nexus values.
- Ensure confidentiality, promote respectful communication, and monitor health and safety standards.
- Encourage diversity and inclusion across the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field required.
- Must have a current LICSW, LPCC, LMFT in Minnesota.
- Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or clinical experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements.
- Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check.
- Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values.
- Five (5) years’ experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience preferred.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.
