About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core.
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs.
  • Implement backend solutions aligned with approved architectural patterns and technical guidelines.
  • Develop services capable of handling high concurrency and production-scale workloads.
  • Write optimized and maintainable database queries while ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend and production issues efficiently.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
  • Apply SOLID principles and safeguard architectural practices such as Clean Architecture, Onion Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests, and performance/load tests.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and engineering quality initiatives.
  • Work closely with Tech Leads, frontend engineers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Translate technical and business requirements into high-quality implementations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers when needed.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Containerize backend services using Docker.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in backend technologies and propose improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in backend development.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining scalable backend services.
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration and performance tests.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude-Code… configuration, rule management and use.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience.
  • Good understanding of: SOLID principles, Design patterns, Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
  • Practical experience using AI coding assistants in day-to-day software development (Cursor/Claude Code/Codex/Github Co-pilot).
  • Fluent in English (mandatory). French language proficiency is a plus.
