About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, deploy and maintain HL7-based integration solutions
Support complex integration projects focusing on data exchange and interoperability
Configure and deploy HL7 v2 interfaces
Perform HL7 message parsing, validation, and transformation with supervision
Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of interface issues
Assist in design and architecture of integration solutions
Engage clients to understand requirements and provide technical support
Support interface testing efforts, including unit testing
Document integration workflows and support ticket resolution
Contribute to knowledge sharing and support peer development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with HL7 v2 and healthcare data integration
Hands-on work with Mirth Connect
Expert knowledge of HL7 message structures (ADT, ORM, ORU, etc.)
Familiarity with SQL for data transformations
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and data security basics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
