About the role

  • Serve as the technical authority and compliance lead for several NERC PRC standards applicable to NextEra Energy Power Generation Division (PGD) assets, including Wind, Solar PV sites, and Battery energy storage systems.
  • Own PGD’s PRC compliance program for standards such as PRC 002, PRC 004, PRC 005, PRC 019, PRC 024 and emerging IBR standards (PRC 028/029/030).
  • Validate relay settings and coordination for PGD’s Wind, Solar PV sites, and Battery energy storage systems.
  • Act as PGD’s liaison during audits and spot checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Experience: 7+ years
