About the role
- Manage the complete lifecycle of nuclear fuel supply contracts for uranium, conversion, enrichment, and fabrication services
- Develop financial models and conduct analyses to support procurement strategies and optimize fuel supply chain costs
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for monthly and quarterly management reviews
- Lead budget planning and forecasting activities for nuclear fuel procurement across FPL and NEER operations
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and support internal and external audit processes
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with nuclear fuel suppliers and industry stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Nuclear Business Operations, Business Management, and Finance to execute procurement activities
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 3+ years
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations
- Understanding of accounting principles for accrual management and financial reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of nuclear fuel cycle and enrichment processes
- Experience with SOX compliance and audit procedures
- Familiarity with energy markets and commodity price forecasting.
