About the role
- Oversee document turnover and file management for operational readiness and regulatory compliance for newly constructed substations
- Store and manage test records, drawings, configuration files and ensure compliance with NERC standards
- Interface with construction and design engineers to ensure successful projects.
- Supervise contracting team to execute process in the field.
- Drive continuous process improvements.
- Support transfer of asset attributes into asset management system (Maximo).
- Collaborate with solar and energy storage project managers, operations teams, and engineering & construction personnel.
- Store all documents in document management systems (D2/Documentum).
- Ensure transfer of As-Builts post construction.
- Catalog all commissioning and test reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer, other engineering degrees may be considered with relevant experience
- Understanding of NERC compliance requirements.
- Work experience in substation engineering, construction and/or management.
- Experience with asset management systems and document management systems
- Demonstrated capability in leading development and change efforts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and professional skills.
- Knowledge and experience in power generation or renewable energy technology is a plus.
- Expertise with Maximo and Documentum is a plus.
