About the role
- Apply standard processes/procedures to achieve objectives and goals
- Apply sound engineering principles to a broad variety of assignments
- Travel to wind sites as often as 5-10 days per month
- Respond as needed during off-hours as power generation business operates ‘around the clock’
- Perform Day to Day Activities of Wind Mechanical Equipment Dispositions
- Drive Organization Efficiencies
- Automating Processes
- Standardizing Dispositions
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ Years of Relevant Engineering Work Experience
- Physically Capable of Climbing a Wind Turbine and Executing Field Work
- Gear, Bearing, Bolted Joint Design, Application and/or Maintenance Experience
- Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (Preferred)
- Experience with Maximo or similar enterprise asset management system (Preferred)
- Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
