About the role
- Works with management to consider the accounting implications of alternative deal structures.
- Keeps senior management informed about potential changes in accounting rules being proposed by accounting standard setters, including the potential impact to the Companies’ financial statements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 5+ years
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Strong understanding of accounting guidance across key areas, including consolidations, equity method investments, leases, revenue recognition, property and capitalization, derivatives, financial instruments, and debt and equity financings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex transactions.
- Sound commercial judgment and business acumen.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other technical accounting professionals and controller groups across the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
