About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Business Development Representative is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management.
- This position will qualify prospects from lead status into the sales pipeline.
- This role will act as a layer between marketing and sales - handle all first contact with new clients and build relationships through marketing activity – events, campaigns, direct mail, email, etc.
- All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of using personal computers and software on a daily basis
- Demonstrated ability to overcome objections
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
