About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Business Development Representative is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management.
This position will qualify prospects from lead status into the sales pipeline.
This role will act as a layer between marketing and sales - handle all first contact with new clients and build relationships through marketing activity – events, campaigns, direct mail, email, etc.
All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of using personal computers and software on a daily basis
Demonstrated ability to overcome objections
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
