About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help with optimization, support and deployment of our cloud-based data systems
Build secure, scalable, and compliant database solutions using Azure SQL Server, and other cloud-native technologies
Support the evolution of our analytics lakehouse and all of its data sources
Ensure platform supports real-time clinical workflows, patient data analytics, and regulatory reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL in production environments, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries
Deep understanding of cloud database architecture, PaaS vs IaaS, and hybrid cloud models
Strong command of T-SQL, PowerShell, and optionally Python or C# for automation and scripting
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data standards is a plus
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, compliance, and clinical teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially around data lineage and auditability.
