Key responsibilities & impact

Help with optimization, support and deployment of cloud-based data systems
Build secure, scalable, and compliant database solutions using Azure SQL Server and other cloud-native technologies
Support the evolution of analytics lakehouse and its data sources
Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7+ years of experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL in production environments, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries
Deep understanding of cloud database architecture, PaaS vs IaaS, and hybrid cloud models
Expert command of T-SQL, PowerShell, as well as Python or C# for automation and scripting
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data standards is a plus
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, compliance, and clinical teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
