About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and contribute to strategic, business-critical GaN R&D projects across multiple sites
- Act as a recognised expert in GaN and wide bandgap technology within the organisation
- Own the performance, functionality, and integration of GaN devices, products, and related interfaces
- Deliver innovative technical solutions to advance GaN product development
- Analyse technology and market trends to influence future GaN roadmap direction
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners
- Support and drive process improvements and faster time-to-market initiatives
- Mentor engineers and build technical capability across the organisation
- Contribute to and influence product technology roadmaps and R&D strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent in Semiconductor Physics, Electronics Engineering, or Microelectronics
- Typically 7+ years’ experience in semiconductor R&D or product development
- Strong track record in GaN or wide bandgap semiconductor technologies
- Recognised technical expertise with the ability to lead or influence complex engineering programmes
