Build and improve systems that collect, normalize, and store data from external services and APIs.
Design robust integrations with third-party APIs and LLMs, handling errors, rate limits, retries, and evolving interfaces.
Explore responsible automated browser interactions or scraping.
Automate scheduled collection workflows and make sure they run reliably every day with good observability and alerting.
Collaborate with engineering peers on design, architecture, reviews, and shared tooling.

Requirements

Strong Python backend experience, especially for integrations and automation.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, LLMs or AI frameworks (e.g. LiteLLM, Langchain, OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs) and external system integration.
Comfortable experimenting, troubleshooting, and tackling unfamiliar problems with curiosity and initiative.
Experience with workflow scheduling/orchestration frameworks (e.g., Dagster) and reliable automation.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and modern CI/CD practices.
Nice to have: experience with web scraping/browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
