About the role

Drive platform engineering and DevOps practices for Nexo's digital-assets wealth platform.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD and GitOps processes and tools (Jenkins, FluxCD).
Manage and optimize public cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters.
Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
Package and deploy applications using Helm; script automation with Bash, Groovy, and Python.
Ensure observability and monitoring using DataDog, Prometheus/Grafana.
Integrate and operate message broker systems (Kafka/AWS MSK/Debezium).
Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Participate in code quality and security analysis processes (SonarQube).

5+ years of proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Platform Engineering practices.
Еxperience with public clouds, preferably AWS.
Experience with CI/CD and GitOps processes and tools (preferably Jenkins and FluxCD).
Experience with code quality and security analysis tools (SonarQube preferred).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (Terraform preferred, AWS CloudFormation).
Experience with packaging manager Helm.
Scripting: Bash, Groovy, Python.
Container orchestration and management: Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
Observability and monitoring tools: DataDog, Prometheus/Grafana.
Message Brokers: Kafka/AWS MSK/Debezium.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delegated tasks and responsibilities.
Curiosity and a strong desire to learn and be up-to-date with trends and best practices.
Ability to work independently in a fluid, fast-paced environment and meet appointed deadlines.
Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Desired (not essential): experience building Developer Portal and Platform Engineering practices.
Desired: good understanding of blockchain technology and the digital assets space.
