About the role

  • Design and implement an end-to-end testing strategy across frontend and backend services.
  • Develop automated test cases for UI components (e.g. Selenium) and backend APIs (e.g. Postman, Jest).
  • Set up regression and integration test suites within CI/CD pipelines to validate each release.
  • Simulate and validate the full onboarding flow from the perspective of an ISV partner.
  • Manage test data preparation, mocking external systems as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers to report, reproduce, and validate fixes for identified issues.
  • Promote quality best practices such as performance benchmarking and security validation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in QA automation for both frontend and backend applications.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Postman, Jest, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of API testing, test coverage strategies, and issue tracking.
  • Fluency in English; comfortable working in a cross-functional, international team.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with payments or financial platforms, Familiarity with microservices architecture and message-based systems, Knowledge of containerization (e.g. Docker) and test environment orchestration, Ability to define and manage test data generation and mocking strategies, Experience in performance or load testing (e.g. JMeter, k6)
