About the role
- Analyse and clarify requests or requirements to agree on the business solution with the end-user
- Define and document User Stories and their related acceptance criteria
- Create user interface mock-ups and wireframes as part of requirements specification
- Create UML use cases, activity diagrams, and functional specifications from business requirements
- Guide the development effort by conveying the end user’s vision to the software factory
- Bridge the gap between end-users, business stakeholders and development team
- Participate in technical design sessions and daily Scrum ceremonies
- Inspect product progress each Sprint and accept or reject work done
- Demonstrate the system to end-users after each iteration and assist in training
- Input on creation of user manuals, test cases, and assist in system acceptance testing
- Create and maintain the product backlog and prioritize items with end-users
- Provide input on Business Cases and act as subject matter expert for payments clients
- Support sales by analysing/responding to RFP/RFIs and preparing presentations/demonstrations
- Provide customer support for change requests, ensure correct functionality delivered in releases
- Conduct research on global financial market trends, monetary policy and operational/settlement risks
- Perform business process review and re-engineering with supporting documentation
Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Engineering / B. Com degree in Economics (Postgraduate degree preferable)
- Business writing and presentation
- Excellent communication with customers and prospect
- Payments Systems experience (highly recommended)
- Proficient in modeling and UML
- Enterprise Architect
- System analysis and design experience
- Ability to focus on underlying problems and find solutions to them
- Business and technological skills and acumen
- Strong understanding of client dynamics and requirements
- Strong understanding of solution design software applications
- SWIFT experience (preferable)
