Legal Manager
Nexi GroupLegal Manager responsible for coordinating the legal team supporting Nexi Group's operations in Poland. Involves comprehensive legal support in commercial and regulatory matters within payments and e-commerce.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing and coordinating the work of the legal team supporting Nexi Group entities in Poland.
- Providing comprehensive legal support for the Group’s business activities, particularly in the areas of payment services, e-commerce, and new technologies.
- Advising management boards and senior leadership on matters related to commercial, corporate, consumer law, and financial sector regulations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with business partners, financial institutions, technology providers, and merchants in both Polish and English.
- Supporting strategic business projects, implementation of new products and services, and initiatives carried out within the Nexi Group.
- Identifying and managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Developing and reviewing internal procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborating with Compliance, Risk, AML, Product, Operations, IT, Sales, and Finance teams in ongoing business activities and projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Law and professional qualification as a legal counsel (radca prawny) or attorney-at-law (adwokat).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in commercial, corporate, or regulatory law, preferably in fintech, payment services, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
- Experience in managing a legal team or coordinating the work of legal professionals.
- Practical knowledge of regulations related to payment services, AML/CFT, data protection, and compliance.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and supporting business projects.
- Very good command of English, enabling work with legal documentation and conducting negotiations.
- Ability to make business-oriented decisions, manage legal risk, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
