About the role
- Lead and develop a team of Solution Design Managers, Customer Project Managers and Bid Managers
- Provide disciplinary and technical leadership for staff within your area of responsibility
- Efficiently manage resources to support all sales channels
- Implement and monitor appropriate processes, measures and KPIs to control capacity and activities
- Ensure the team complies with Nexi policies
- Ensure professional pre-sales support, including solution design, customer projects and bid management, to enable successful sales
- Communicate and present relevant information to project participants and stakeholders
- Promote the professional and personal development of employees
- Represent the team and its interests in internal meetings and escalation rounds
- Identify and resolve internal challenges and bottlenecks
Requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy, a structured way of working and attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of workflows across all relevant areas of responsibility
- Solid knowledge of the payments industry, its services, requirements and customers
- Ability to set priorities and confidently manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
- Experience working in international or heavily matrix-organized companies
- Familiarity with modern project management methods (e.g., agile, hybrid)
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in pre-sales or solution design
- High problem-solving capability and the ability to manage complex challenges pragmatically
