About the role

  • Support the entire sales cycle with medium-sized enterprises (research, contact, visits, negotiations and closing sales on appointments set with prospects, lists of prospects and opportunities identified independently);
  • Manage commercial activities to achieve volume, profitability and redemption targets through the sale of Nexi Gateway/Acquiring products and services to prospects in the MID segment and “collateral” products/services;
  • Manage the sales pipeline and update the CRM system on opportunities, visits and contracts;
  • Monitor competitors' activities;
  • Achieve Nexi eCommerce’s financial targets by meeting individual goals.
  • Support the operational implementation of commercial initiatives and special projects promoted by Nexi
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Merchants and user experience, continuously driving improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in e-commerce business development and Sales account management (3 years experience).
  • Strong ability to influence and gain trust from both internal and external stakeholders, guiding them toward common goals.
  • Results-driven, with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
  • Deep understanding of the Italian e-commerce landscape, with a personal network of local merchants.
  • You find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems.
  • You are always respectful, kind and fair.
