About the role
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients.
- Serve as the trusted advisor, understanding client business models, financial needs, and strategic goals.
- Ensure consistent and proactive communication across all touchpoints.
- Create and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and client retention.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across banking products.
- Collaborate with Marketing and product teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to support complex client needs and transactions.
- Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, and service delivery metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to inform client strategy.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support onboarding of new strategic clients and ensure smooth integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, relationship banking, or corporate finance
- Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships in financial services
- Strong understanding of banking products and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and market insights
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Native German Speaker
