About the role
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with correspondent lenders
- Train and educate partners on Newfi’s programs, processes, and technology
- Drive funded loan production, ensuring smooth pipeline management
- Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for your clients
- Monitor loan deliveries, expiring rate locks, and ensure timely closings
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service and support
- Stay informed on industry trends and compliance guidelines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in correspondent originations, with a focus on NonDelegated Counterparties
- Proven success in account management or business development roles
- Strong knowledge of Delegated and Non-Delegated lending practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with a focus on customer service
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
