About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run the point-of-sale system and assist customers during checkout
Set up and restock products, displays, coolers, and workstations
Perform light food preparation, including baking cookies and preparing salad bar and grab-and-go items
Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for cooking or serving
Prepare and replenish the salad bar
Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas using hand trucks or carts
Wash dishes, pots, and pans by dishwasher or hand
Remove and store trash in appropriate containers
Maintain clean and presentable customer and dining areas
Provide attentive, approachable customer service; greet and thank café customers
Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager
Assist the team with front-of-house, dishwashing, trash removal, and utility-related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food/customer service experience, preferably within a corporate dining setting
Dependable with excellent customer service skills
Ability to pull and lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
