About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with the executive team
Manage all facets of organizational operations with full P&L accountability
Lead and manage the operations team through communication, empowerment, rewards, and coaching
Ensure operational excellence across the organization
Identify innovative services and solutions to expand client requirements with internal and external partners
Manage client relationships to maintain satisfaction and account retention
Partner with business leaders to drive change and implement new business processes
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations
Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with clients, agencies, and other entities
Confer with leadership and staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems
Implement corrective action plans as needed
Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sites
Serve on the leadership team and oversee operations-department employee hiring and performance management
Travel up to 50%, including possible out-of-area and overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
7–10 years of operational multi-unit experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management leading a team
