About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with the executive team
  • Manage all facets of organizational operations with full P&L accountability
  • Lead and manage the operations team through communication, empowerment, rewards, and coaching
  • Ensure operational excellence across the organization
  • Identify innovative services and solutions to expand client requirements with internal and external partners
  • Manage client relationships to maintain satisfaction and account retention
  • Partner with business leaders to drive change and implement new business processes
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations
  • Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with clients, agencies, and other entities
  • Confer with leadership and staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems
  • Implement corrective action plans as needed
  • Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sites
  • Serve on the leadership team and oversee operations-department employee hiring and performance management
  • Travel up to 50%, including possible out-of-area and overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7–10 years of operational multi-unit experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management leading a team
