About the role
- You take overall responsibility for managing development projects, including budget, schedule and quality.
- You lead interdisciplinary project teams confidently and with a focus on objectives.
- You serve as the central interface between customers, development and sales and manage external subcontractors.
- You prepare project estimates and project plans in close cooperation with the relevant departments.
- You prepare proposals and present them together with the sales team directly to customers.
- You apply modern project management methods — from traditional models such as Waterfall and the V‑Model to agile approaches like SCRUM.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable field.
- You have solid experience leading technical projects and know how to motivate teams sustainably and guide them to success.
- A project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI‑PMP/ACP or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 26262 or IEC 62304 is desirable.
- You possess strong organizational skills, work independently and show initiative to actively contribute to the company’s development and target achievement.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
