About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own quality end-to-end from story acceptance criteria through production health monitoring
Build, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers
Test and validate internally built LLMs and external AI tools and services
Own test planning, execution, and release support from story validation to production deployment
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to refine ambiguous requirements into testable acceptance criteria
Advocate for quality, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and pair with mid-level quality engineers
Establish defect tracking, triage, and communication best practices
Use AI tooling for issue detection, reproduction, and resolution
Surface release risks and defect trends to stakeholders and support production escalations

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment
5+ years building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright
Experience with manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, and database testing
Understanding of Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines
Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in daily workflow
Ability to participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, communicate release risks and defect trends, and support production escalations
Industry experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning/online education platforms
Experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium for E2E browser automation
Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Mocha for unit/integration testing
Experience with k6, JMeter, or Locust
Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS
Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic for logs/error tracking
Experience with TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr for test management
Successful completion of a background check as part of the pre-employment process
Preferred: experience testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services
Preferred: familiarity with performance and accessibility testing
Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
Preferred: prior background in EdTech or consumer-facing SaaS products
