About the role
- Serve as the technical contact for Front End concerns within your team and for your space
- Work with the team's leadership to balance technical concerns with long-term strategy, front-end requirements, and cross-functional needs
- Involved in the earliest stages of each project working with team leadership to help with technical scoping and technical discovery
- Responsible for the quality of Front End PR’s on your team: thorough checks, title and summaries, and technical review
- Work with team leadership to critically review all PRs and broaden round-robin reviews
- Work with team managers to ensure technical tickets are scoped appropriately and well communicated
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with frontend software development
- Demonstrated success in building complex web applications with simple, elegant, and maintainable solutions
- Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and either React or Next.js. Experience with Node JS and Express is a plus.
- Experience with modern web standards, responsive design, and web accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0+)
- Ability to provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of the solution and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve potential risks and challenges throughout the development process.
- While not required, experience with web accessibility guidelines, Node.js, or AWS is a plus.
