About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
Keeping up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends
Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
Create and maintain efficient data models and datasets in Power BI.
Develop custom visualizations and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
Design and develop interactive visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other databases.
Wrangle data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis.
Apply data modeling best practices to support robust and scalable BI solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
4-6 years industry experience in Power BI, Data Visualization, DAX, SQL queries and Data modelling.
Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
Candidate should be Ok to work in US shift timings and may change based on projects.
