About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and repeatable population logic for validation, testing, issue management, exam responses, and operational reporting
  • Build and document reproducible, auditable population definitions
  • Perform data validation and quality checks, including reconciliations, reasonableness testing, and exception identification
  • Execute and support control testing and ongoing monitoring
  • Analyze trends, drivers, and outliers to identify compliance risk indicators and support root cause analysis and remediation tracking
  • Produce dashboards and management reporting using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Partner with operations, Compliance, and Technology to investigate data issues and implement durable fixes
  • Communicate analytical findings through written summaries for leadership updates and exam support
  • Maintain knowledge of servicing processes and reporting
  • Support ad hoc analysis related to segmentation, customer behavior, and operational performance improvement
  • Assist with UAT and regression testing for Compliance-impacting changes and tickets
  • Perform related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline, related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2–4 years of related experience as a data analyst in a financial setting
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex query development and performance optimization
  • Strong analytical capability in data quality validation, reconciliation, and exception analysis
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, R, or Python
  • Ability to translate business questions into testable logic and well-defined data populations
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted schedules, overtime, evenings, or weekends
  • Ability to work on-site at the assigned office location
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in English
  • Smartphone meeting company security standards and able to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator
