About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the execution of strategic partnership initiatives in line with Newrez’s commercial and corporate strategy.
- Assist in researching and evaluating potential partnership and revenue opportunities.
- Help prioritize partnership opportunities based on potential business impact.
- Maintain communication with external stakeholders, including industry partners and thought leaders, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Legal to help ensure successful partnership execution.
- Represent Newrez at select industry forums, conferences, and partner meetings, as appropriate.
- Contribute to the design and support of partnership processes, including onboarding, reporting, and account management to help ensure partner satisfaction and success.
- Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related field, ideally within financial services or financial technology.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to partnership or deal execution.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Motivated to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and professional relationships across the organization and with customers.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style.
- High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
