About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Sales to Drive Revenue
- Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to understand customer business challenges and technical requirements
- Participate in discovery calls, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations
- Help qualify opportunities by assessing technical fit and identifying potential implementation considerations
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Bluehost products, integrations, infrastructure, and platform capabilities
- Explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Respond to customer questions regarding architecture, security, integrations, performance, and scalability
- Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases and business objectives
- Develop proof-of-concept environments and technical presentations when needed
- Evaluate customer requirements and recommend optimal product configurations
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to develop solutions for unique customer needs
- Document technical requirements and solution recommendations
- Create and maintain technical sales materials, demo environments, and solution documentation
- Provide training and guidance to Sales teams on product capabilities and competitive positioning
- Share customer insights and market feedback with Product and Engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or related customer-facing technical role
- Experience supporting SaaS, hosting, cloud, web services, digital marketing, or technology solutions
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- Experience with web hosting, WordPress, domains, cloud infrastructure, or website management platforms (preferred)
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, DNS, website architecture, and related technologies (preferred)
