About the role
- Define and execute the end-to-end technical vision from concept to production
- Turn 0→1 ideas into scalable, commercialized products
- Design systems where AI participates in the software development lifecycle
- Architect solutions leveraging agentic AI, automation, and cloud-native design
- Evaluate technologies and determine build vs buy vs integrate decisions
- Partner with leadership to align technical direction with business impact
- Mentor engineers while remaining deeply hands-on in development
- AI/ML architecture patterns (RAG, agent frameworks, model serving), system design for AI-native products, and experience evaluating build-vs-buy for AI capabilities.
- Setting technical direction for the innovation team, influencing engineering-wide decisions, building the AI platform layer that other teams can leverage.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with modern programming languages (Python, PHP, Go, JavaScript)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to take ideas from concept → production → scale
- Strong hands-on coding background—you still build daily
- Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
- Demonstrated experience in architecting AI-native products
