Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build integrations between the ERP, internal applications, and third-party vendor systems using SFTP, APIs, and message queues
Develop and maintain .NET applications and services across the Azure estate
Diagnose and resolve SQL Server performance problems in production, including deadlocks, timeouts, and slow queries
Harden database schemas and indexing to prevent recurring performance issues
Build and maintain Azure Logic Apps, App Services, and Azure SQL workloads
Onboard new vendors onto the integration platform
Engineer scheduled and batch jobs for production-grade reliability, including failure handling, monitoring, and atomicity
Consolidate duplicated legacy logic and retire obsolete code
Translate finance, inventory, and order-management workflows into reliable technical solutions
Establish tests and documentation for owned systems
Participate in code reviews and pod ceremonies
Triage and resolve production incidents across the enterprise systems estate
Participate in hiring processes by serving on interview panels

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of backend engineering with strong C# / .NET, including .NET Framework
Deep Azure development experience including Logic Apps, App Services, Azure SQL, and surrounding PaaS services
Strong T-SQL and SQL Server fundamentals, including query and index optimization, execution plan analysis, deadlock and timeout diagnosis, blocking, and concurrency
Experience with flat-file exchange over SFTP, REST and SOAP API integrations, and message-queue-based integration
Experience integrating with third-party vendor systems
Full ownership of shipped work, including testing
Ability to document integration contracts, data flows, and decisions
Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows
Comfort improving live production systems, including legacy code
Proactive communication and familiarity with Agile/Scrum
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to work with significant US Eastern Time overlap
Legal work authorization in the country of residence, verified by documentation
