About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using dbt and SQL to support dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with analysts to understand their data needs and translate them into robust and scalable data solutions.
- Build and maintain internal tools and dashboards to facilitate efficient data management.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of our data infrastructure ensuring data quality, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with data engineering to integrate new data sources into the core data infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
- As a Senior team member, you will be expected to actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A few years of experience in a data engineering or analytics role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines and tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong proficiency dbt core and/or cloud for data transformation and modeling.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, such as star schemas and medallion architectures
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Passion for data and a strong interest in contributing to health and wellness research.
