About the role

  • Support new product development, SAP/Mattec setup and BOM/Route setup/changes utilizing the PAF process
  • Select equipment, submit Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) as needed and follow through with implementation, validation and training on the equipment to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Perform time studies on new packaging/product pack outs to confirm correct manufacturing staffing
  • Create costings for new products or new packaging structures
  • Assist in building quality standard work instructions (QSWI's) to provide clear instructions on how to pack out new packaging/products
  • Support manufacturing processes and automation
  • Support SEAL and PEAK programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in plastic injection and blow molding and manufacturing/automation processes preferred
  • Skilled in use of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to generate innovative solutions to situations
  • Ability to organize and coordinate activities across functional departments
  • Ability to travel occasionally for external training and on-site vendor meetings
