About the role
- Oversee the design, maintenance, and reliability of chiller systems and air compressors across three manufacturing sites.
- Support continuous operation and energy optimization of HVAC systems.
- Maintain and improve Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) in warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional site teams and external vendors to ensure uptime and compliance.
- Lead multi-site projects involving facility upgrades, equipment lifecycle planning, and root cause analysis of system failures.
- Develop and standardize preventative maintenance programs across all sites.
- Analyze system performance data to drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure all systems meet local regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with senior maintenance staff on various projects.
- Maintain accurate facility records and prepare reports for management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in chiller and air compressor design and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and automated warehouse technologies.
- Familiar with building management systems, control schematics, and CMMS platforms
- Willingness to travel regularly between locations as required.
- Ability to manage projects outside of the realm of normal duties.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
- Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking basic English.
