About the role
- Serve as a segment expert and strategic liaison between the brand and customer teams
- Act as the unified voice of the segment/brand to customer teams and vice versa
- Develop and execute Annual Category Management Plans and selling stories
- Create and implement channel- and customer-specific strategies
- Lead go-to-market initiatives including pricing, new product launches, and promotions
- Partner with Finance for investment decisions and Sales Strategies
- Translate brand innovation into customer growth strategies
- Oversee Commercialization Plans and implementation
- Lead Supply Chain forecasting and optimization for assigned categories
- Analyze market and category data to identify growth opportunities
- Represent top retailer dynamics and provide strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with Category Development to craft compelling national selling stories
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years in category management, brand strategy, or customer engagement
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
