About the role
- Develop, maintain and implement third-party oversight and supplier relationship management frameworks
- Ensure frameworks are adopted across the Society and act as trusted business partner and adviser
- Identify, document and report third-party risks in line with policy
- Support detailed data analysis including trending, problem identification and development of remediation plans
- Assist the business with the attestation process and verify compliance with third party risk management framework, policies and controls
- Keep up to date with changing regulatory environment, market conditions, trends and insights affecting third-party risk
- Work alongside the Group Property & Procurement Operations Manager to develop reporting demonstrating framework effectiveness
Requirements
- Demonstratable experience in a third-party risk management role
- In-depth understanding of third-party risk management best practices and trends
- Track record of implementing risk management and supplier relationship management frameworks
- Ideally understanding of financial services regulations or experience in a regulated environment
- Experience of working with risk management systems
- Strong understanding of strategic procurement and supplier management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in interpreting and presenting third-party risk data and MI
- In-depth reporting and analytical skills
- Experience of producing reporting to regulator, risk and c-suite levels
- Appetite to positively disrupt and challenge the status quo
